Hi, I’m Kieran Zhané – a photographer, mentor, and creative business owner originally from Bristol, UK. I started my journey in 2017, shadowing award-winning photographers to learn the ropes and build confidence in the creative industry. What began as a curiosity quickly turned into a business, and I’ve been capturing moments ever since.

Over the years, I’ve worked with everyone from couples getting married and small business owners to global brands. I started with weddings and portraits, and those still remain a core part of what I do. My team has grown to cover the whole UK, and I now run three brands under one creative house:

• KZ Captured Moments – Weddings, events, and portrait photography

• Get The Shot – Sports photography and media coverage, launching June 2025 at www.gettheshot.co.uk

• PhotographyMentoring.co.uk – Mentorship and training for students and creatives, coming Autumn 2025 with products and an eBook currently in development.

I’m proud to say that over 95% of our clients are either repeat customers or referrals, and that’s down to the care we put into every project. We always aim to go above and beyond expectations.

During the pandemic in 2020, we adapted quickly - offering digital consultancy and helping charities and small businesses grow their online presence. Since then, we’ve expanded our consulting services too, including video production, branding advice, and social media strategy.

In 2021, demand was so high that our booking system crashed! That made me step back and refine how we run the business. We streamlined our processes and decided to either grow or become more selective. We did both - making more space for bookings while staying focused on what matters most: our clients.

By 2023, we expanded the team and set up two main bases - one in the South-West and one in the North-East of England. This has helped us work with even more clients while staying true to the personalised service we’re known for.

In 2024, I launched my first print store and officially launched my mentorship programme in the North East. The programme helps students and early-career creatives build real skills and gain paid work in the creative industries. The first year was a huge success, and we’re expanding to welcome even more mentees in 2025 with PhotographyMentoring.co.uk.
